India Meals Curry Point - Plano: Reviews & Ratings
This place is very spicy but very delicious. We have been eating here for a long time and their food has so much flavor! My husband and I enjoy eating here once per week. The chicken is the best, paneer masala is very flavorful, naan bread is perfection.
This is just an update from my original outstanding review from a year ago. I still love and frequent displays specifically for the outstanding tandoori chicken / Kalmi Kabob, And if you like that dish, I absolutely recommend you trying this place. I will add just a little bit about the service and thus and lowering my overall review from 5 to 4 stars due to pressure from one of my friends that I recently brought there. It should be noted that they do prefer to see you even though most assume it to be self-seeting, so I advise check in with the host before sitting down so there's no possible friction, especially during busy times when larger (4 person) tables need to be reserved for larger parties. And the other thing is to just remember and be mindful of how much food you consume. Sometimes the phase are more about relaxed variety then huge quantity. Few people eat more than five pieces of chicken, But for those of you that really crave this and do, they kind of reserve the right to charge for that. I do wish they would put a sign up so that customers know they might be charged for six piece. I'm fine with this and the quality of the tandoori chicken outweighs these little nuances. But I recently brought a guest and they brought me back a fly from the buffet when fresh ones came out and I told them not to because It's supposed to be number of pieces per and gets confused if you share with each other. They didn't understand and got annoyed and got mad at me for choosing to go there. For me I'm fine and look so forward to my favorite dishes but I promise that might update my outstanding review to include this little things... This is a super no frills place but has become my go-to place for Indian lunch buffet. I only go the one day a week that they have $10 chicken because I feel they do that better than anyone else. The Chicken is marinated in their homemade tandoori sauce through and through. You can literally pull off a piece of chicken meat and the inside of the meat instead of being white will still be colored and flavorful because the sauce is somehow sunk in. I make thundery chicken myself at home but I have no clue how they do this good a job with it.
I tried the buffet lunch at India Meals Curry Point for $12.99 and it’s absolutely worth the price. They offer a good variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, and most of the food tastes delicious. It’s a great option if you’re looking for a satisfying, flavorful Indian meal on a budget. The only concern I had was with the use of foam cups and plates. Hot food served on foam can sometimes leach chemicals, and it was a bit concerning while eating. We did convey this feedback to them, and I hope they consider switching to safer alternatives in the future. Other than that, it’s a good spot with value-for-money meals.
The food is delicious, I also liked the Mango Lassi. It’s a nice have good meal in your lunch break, buffet style. Lots of vegetarian options too. Spicy but not too spicy !
14$ buffet worth it. Tandoori chicken, chicken biryani, chicken 65 taste is good. Others food items are normal.
I have tried the lunch buffet here on both weekdays and weekends. Unlike many other Indian restaurants that use heavy masala to enhance flavor, their food tastes well-balanced and homey. The buffet isn't overloaded with too many items, but the food is always fresh and very flavorful. I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is also very clean and well-maintained. The weekday lunch buffet is just $12.99 plus tax.
I visited Indian Meals in Plano and the food was absolutely delicious — it truly felt like home-cooked food made by mom. At first, I thought the price was a bit high for the number of items, but once I tasted the food, I realized it’s worth every penny. Instead of eating many average dishes elsewhere, it’s better to enjoy this one plate of simple, fresh, and flavorful home-style food. The quality, taste, and warmth of the food made me feel at home. Highly recommended for anyone missing real Indian homemade taste!
I had a great experience at India Meal! We tried their buffet, and for just $12.99, it’s honestly a steal. They offer 8+ vegetarian options and 8+ non-vegetarian options, so there’s plenty of variety for everyone. The place itself is small and not fancy at all, but don’t let that fool you. The food is what really matters here, and it was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. If you’re looking for good Indian food at a very reasonable price, this spot is definitely worth trying. Great value for money and a solid dining experience!
